Melissa Oberlander traded in 13 years of automotive sales, eight years of property management and 10 years in the banking industry to fulfill her career ambition of becoming a real estate agent. Today she is a licensed agent and is making a name for herself with one of Erie’s leading real estate companies.
In addition to her extensive professional background, Melissa has taken a variety of real estate classes as well as accounting courses at Gannon University. With her strong math abilities and salesmanship, Melissa is proficient in crunching numbers for buyers and she offers the business savvy to help sellers achieve top dollar for their properties.
Through years of working with the public, Melissa has developed extraordinary customer service skills and she possesses a genuine interest in her clients. She is very determined, reliable and is a hard working individual. Melissa has high moral standards and is driven by a strong desire to help people.
Melissa has been a resident of the Waterford community for most of her life but her real estate interests span the entire county including rural communities, subdivisions and the City of Erie. Melissa has a special interest and keen sense for residential properties and new construction. Her personal experience in designing and building homes also offers an added benefit for her clients whether they are in the market to buy or sell.
Melissa and her husband raised one son and three daughters and are proud to be first time grandparents. Melissa is very family oriented and as a mother of four children, she served for nine years on the PTA committee and was involved in sports boosters for three. She enjoys cooking up a storm for her family and when time permits, Melissa enjoys traveling to new and interesting places.
