Laban Marsh Broker/Owner

Several years after graduating from the University of Connecticut and working as vice president of sales for a commercial roofing company, Laban Marsh decided to return to his roots in Erie. While he was away gaining experience in sales and management, his mother Marsha and his brother Levi, were developing a growing clientele in their respective real estate ventures.

With a budding career in real estate, Laban has applied his business sense and sales experience to achieve his license as a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker. Today, as the managing member of “Marsh Team Realty”, Laban strives to achieve the highest success for his clients by leveraging his skills and dedication with the tremendous resources of Marsha Marsh Real Estate Services.

Thanks to the advice of a former employer, Laban launched his investment career by purchasing a multi-unit home as his first residence. With his team of knowledgeable technicians, Laban has developed a reputation as an expert in the investment market. In addition, Laban is recognized as a listing specialist and property manager and he is a certified negotiation specialist, a home marketing specialist and holds the Accredited Seller’s Representation (ASR) designation.

Laban is a hardworking, perseverant and knowledgeable broker who stays current with the ever changing market conditions. He is personable, honest, result oriented and takes the time to ask questions so that he can thoroughly understand and address the needs of his clients.

In his career to date, Laban has received many compliments from former clients for his expertise, reliability and high degree of integrity. He has also been recommended for his professional approach to quality and unparalleled customer service and support.

Laban believes that for most people, the purchase or sale of real estate is a considerable financial investment and he takes his responsibility seriously. “I try to help people maximize their investment and leverage it wisely with an understanding of the many incentives that make real estate the most commonly used vehicle to build wealth over the long-term,” explains Laban.

As an avid sports enthusiast and participant, Laban was a high school track star and held the distinction as the Pennsylvania high school state record holder in the pole vault at 16’1” from 1997 – 2006. He was an AP first team all-state football player with the McDowell Trojans as a senior and was an All-American in the pole vault both junior and senior seasons. In addition, he was named to the McDowell High School Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic achievements. He also made a name for himself at the collegiate level as he was a full scholarship athlete in football and track & field at the University of Connecticut. His accomplishments include being the only athlete in Big East history to, on the same day, win one event on the track (60m – 6.78 seconds) and one in the field (Pole Vault - 16’3”).

Laban and his wife Megan are the proud parents of a lovely daughter Mackenzie, and a son Laban Andrew “Drew”, II. They are members of First Alliance Church and as an active supporter of the Erie community, Laban serves as a board member of the Summit Township Sewer Authority.

Laban is committed to leading by example through hard work and dedication to the profession of real estate. Whether you’re searching for a home or investment property, look to Laban to help you make the most of your financial and business investment.
